Narrowing down what Rock Lights mean and which one you need.
With so many Rock light options on the market now and different types it can get confusing extremely quickly with the terms LEDs, diodes, lumen counts, and so many more terms being thrown at you with little to no explanation as far as what they actually mean. We separate our Rock Lights by how many LED chips are inside of the rock light.
Pure White Rock Lights :
9 LED ROCK LIGHT:
Starting off with the smallest option we offer, the 9 LED Rock Light. This Rock light has 9 LED chips inside and this is a DIY Rock Light. Meaning that the rock light has 16" of Wire coming from it then it is Power & Ground. There is no switch or wire harness for this kit. We have kits that we can suggest to you however this is a full DIY kit for those wanting to save some money and get a all around good entry level option.
36 LED ROCK LIGHT
Next is our 36 LED Rock Light. This is the middle of the road option and our most popular option. With 36 LED chips inside it is 4x brighter than the above mentioned Rock Light. This kit is FULLY PREWIRED. It is a Mount, Plug, and Play kit. It has waterproof quick connectors included you Mount the rock lights where you want to install them, run the wire to the control box, put the power & ground of the control box on your battery and you are good to go! It is App AND Remote Controlled with an optional White Wire for you to hardwire it to a switch.
144 LED ROCK LIGHT
Last but certainly not least is going to be our 144 LED Rock Lights. These are the brightest option you're going to get and trust us when we say that you won't regret it. With 144 LED Chips inside the rock light and a cover that has a wide range these are great for throwing light absolutely everywhere. There are 8 LED Chips on each side at a 45 degree angle to help light up absolutely everything. They are powered and controlled with the same style remote as the 36 LED Rock lights making them again, FULLY PRE WIRED. They're installed the exact same, they're the "Big Brother" of the 36 LED rock lights. We suggest these to anyone wanting to have the best of the best and truly go all out.
Colored Rock Lights:
There's a lot of confusion out there on Colored Rock lights. Some have white in them but they're blueish white, some don't offer a white option at all. We have two options for Colored Rock lights which we'll go in depth about below.
RGB Meaning: This is for Rock Lights that have RGB (Red, Green, Blue) LED Chips inside of them. These are the rock lights with a Blueish white color, since there isn't a true Pure White LED Chip it's trying to mix RGB Colors to create a Pure White.
RGBW Meaning: This is the ONLY option we offer for our Colored Rock Lights. When the Rock Light has RGBW, it means that it has again, a Red, Green, and Blue LED chip but it ALSO has a White LED Chip. This is going to give you the best of both worlds, letting you have Colored Rock Lights but also a True Pure white Color when you want it.
36 LED RGBW ROCK LIGHT
Going into the two options we have first the 36 LED RGBW Rock Light, it shares an identical housing to the Pure White 36 LED Rock light kit however this time there are 9 LED Chips of each color: Red, Blue, Green, White. This gives you an even distribution of each color. It is a Fully Prewired kit- It is a Mount, Plug, and Play kit. It has waterproof quick connectors included. Just Mount the rock lights where you want to install them, run the wire from the rock light to the control box, put the power & ground of the control box on your battery and you are good to go! It is App AND Remote Controlled with an optional White Wire for you to hardwire it to a switch to power on white as well as an optional BLUE Wire for you to wire to a braking system for all lights to power on RED when you are braking.
48 LED RGBW ROCK LIGHT
The Brightest Colored Rock light we have is going to be our 48 LED RGBW Rock lights. Again, it shares the same housing as our 104 LED Pure White Rock Lights. This kit has 48 LED chips with Red, Green, Blue, and White built inside. There are 4 LED Chips on each side at a 45 Degree angle to help spread light wider. Not to sound like a broken record but these again are pre wired kits. It has waterproof quick connectors included just mount the rock lights where you want to install them, run the wire to the control box, put the power & ground of the control box on your battery and you are good to go! Same APP and Remote controller as the smaller option above optional White Wire for you to hardwire it to a switch to power on white as well as an optional BLUE Wire for you to wire to a braking system for all lights to power on RED when you are braking.
